Mission Projects

The offerings given by the Adult Bible Class and Sunday School each Sunday are designated for special projects by the Board for Missions.

We completed our monetary support for the Native American Outreach mission project led by Pastor Mark Peske in the Bemidji area to the Ojibwa Indians. We were able to send a $300 check which brought our total support for this mission to $1430. Pastor Peske continues to update me and has indicated that great things are happening in this ministry and doors that were closed are now opening. Continue to keep this ministry in your prayers.

Immanuel was able to support our children with children's bibles and catechisms with a contribution of $327. This project gets God's word into the hands of our children so they can continue to carry out God's plan in the years to come.

We just completed a mission project that supported Shepherd's Hill. Because of God's blessing we were able to support this wonderful mission with a $773 check. Praise the Lord! Continue to keep this mission in your prayers as they are experiencing monetary problems with the current economic conditions.

Our recent mission was the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch which is a mission that is changing the lives of young boys and girls who have gone astray and need a path back to happiness and stability. This project was completed in March, 2010.

Our current project is Lutheran Bible Translators.

The board of missions would like to sincerely thank our children and Adult bible classes for the wonderful support they give as we continue to find missions that need support so that others may know what it means to live in the freedom of the Gospel. May the Lord continue to bless each of you as you continue to be moved by the spirit to carry out the great commission.
